Restaurant Window Decals in Toronto
Hours, menus, delivery marks and eye-level privacy applied to your restaurant glass and built to survive daily cleaning.
Restaurant windows have to answer questions before anyone opens the door. Are you open right now? What kind of food is this? What does it cost? Can I order for delivery? A passerby deciding where to eat gives a frontage a few seconds, and a restaurant that leaves those answers to a printed sheet taped inside the glass loses covers to the place next door that put them on the window properly.
There's a second job happening on the same pane. Diners seated at the window are on display to the sidewalk, and most people don't want to eat at eye level with foot traffic. Solving that without turning the dining room into a cave is the balance nearly every restaurant we work with is trying to strike.
The practical constraint behind both is durability. Restaurant glass gets wiped daily, sometimes with harsh cleaners, and the door pane is handled constantly. Thin consumer-grade decals curl at the edges within a season. Everything we install is commercial film specified for that handling, with edges sealed properly so cleaning doesn't start lifting the corners.
Applications
What We Make for Restaurants
Hours and contact decals
Opening hours, phone, reservation link and social handles cut in vinyl and placed on the entrance door where people look for them — legible at arm's length, not a printed page curling behind the glass.
Menu window graphics
Printed menu boards or featured-dish panels applied directly to a side pane, so people can read the offer and the prices before committing to walk in.
Restaurant window lettering
The restaurant name, cuisine descriptor and established date in cut lettering across the main pane — the treatment that makes a frontage look considered rather than temporary.
Eye-level privacy bands
A frosted or solid band at seated-head height gives diners at the window some cover while daylight still reaches the room and the upper glass keeps the frontage open.
Delivery and payment marks
Delivery app logos, accepted payment marks, licensing and certification decals grouped cleanly on the door instead of scattered across the frontage.
Patio and enclosure graphics
Graphics and branding on patio glass and wind screens, including the frosted markings that stop people walking into a clear panel.

Printed Graphic Vinyl
For menu panels, dish photography and full-colour branding where the window needs to sell the food, not just name the restaurant.

Perforated Printed Graphics
Full-pane campaign or menu imagery on a window your diners still need to see out of — solid from the street, see-through from the table.

Perforated Colour Vinyl
A colour treatment across the lower glass that screens the dining room from the sidewalk without blacking out the seats behind it.

Process
How It Works for Restaurants
- 01
Walk us through the frontage
Photos of the door, main window and any patio glass, plus what each pane needs to say — hours, menu, branding or privacy.
- 02
We lay it out to scale
We place lettering, menu panels and privacy bands at the right heights for standing and seated sightlines, and proof it before printing.
- 03
We install outside service hours
Installation is scheduled before opening or after close so the dining room keeps trading, and the glass is cleaned as part of the job.
FAQ
Restaurants Window Vinyl Questions, Answered.
Will restaurant window decals survive daily cleaning?
Yes, when they're commercial film installed with sealed edges. We spec material rated for exterior storefront use and wipe-down cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent-heavy cleaners directly on the edges and the graphic will outlast most fit-outs.
What's the best way to give diners privacy without darkening the restaurant?
A privacy band at seated eye level — usually a frosted or solid strip roughly between knee and shoulder height for someone sitting — screens the table while the glass above and below stays clear. If you want full-height coverage, perforated film keeps the daylight and the outward view.
Can you put our full menu and prices on the window?
Yes, and it's one of the most common requests. We usually recommend a printed panel on a side pane rather than the main view window, sized so the type is readable from the sidewalk. Menus that change often are worth producing as a replaceable panel.
Can you add delivery app logos and hours to the door glass?
Yes. Delivery marks, payment logos, licences and hours are typically grouped on the entrance door in one tidy arrangement. Send us the logo files your delivery partners supply and we'll lay them out to a consistent size.
How long does a restaurant window lettering install take?
A door and single frontage of cut lettering is generally a short visit once the graphics are produced. Larger jobs with menu panels and privacy bands take longer. We'll confirm the window of time with your quote so you can schedule around service.
