Gym Window Graphics in Toronto
Street-facing campaign graphics and perforated privacy film that keep members' daylight and their view out.
Gyms and studios sit on some of the best advertising real estate in the city and face a conflict nobody else has. The frontage is usually enormous — full-height glass along a busy street — and the business wants to fill it with a membership offer people can read from a moving car. At the same time, the members inside are lifting, stretching and sweating in front of that same glass, and a lot of them will not book a trial session at a gym where the street watches them squat.
Blocking the windows solves the privacy problem and creates two worse ones: a training floor with no natural light, and a frontage that looks closed. Perforated film is the answer that makes this industry different from every other one we work with. The film is printed on the outside face and pierced with thousands of micro-holes, so from the sidewalk it reads as a solid full-colour graphic, and from the training floor it behaves like a tinted window — members see out, daylight comes in, and nobody sees in during daytime hours.
That one material lets a fitness business run the campaign it wants at full scale. Class schedules, founding-member pricing, a January push, a new studio opening — all of it can go across the entire frontage without taking anything away from the people already training inside.
Applications
What We Make for Fitness
Full-frontage membership campaigns
Perforated printed graphics across the whole glass line carrying an offer, imagery and a call to action sized for traffic speed — the largest ad a gym can run without buying media.
Perforated privacy screening
See-out, no-see-in coverage over the cardio and free-weight areas so members train without an audience while the floor keeps its daylight.
Class schedule and timetable panels
A printed schedule on a side pane or entry glass so passersby and members can check class times without opening an app.
Studio and mirror-room frosting
Frosted or solid bands on interior glass between studios, offices and the main floor, giving separation without closing the space in.
Branding and logo windows
Logo, studio name and discipline on the entry glass and upper panes so the building reads as a gym from a block away.
Multi-studio rollouts
The same campaign produced and installed across several locations, each cut to that site's glass sizes and scheduled to launch together.
Products
Recommended Products for Fitness

Perforated Printed Graphics
The primary product for fitness. Full-colour campaign graphics on the street side, see-through from the training floor, so you can cover every pane without darkening the gym or exposing members.

Perforated Colour Vinyl
Permanent brand-colour coverage with the same see-out privacy, for gyms that want ongoing screening rather than a dated campaign.

Printed Graphic Vinyl
Opaque print for panes where visibility doesn't matter — change-room glass, stairwells, back-of-house and side elevations that only need to carry brand imagery.

Solid Colour Vinyl
Frosted-effect and solid bands for studio partitions, office glass and privacy strips on interior doors.

Process
How It Works for Fitness
- 01
Map the glass
We work out which panes need to stay see-through for members and which can carry opaque graphics, based on your floor layout and street orientation.
- 02
Scale the campaign
Artwork is built at full frontage size so the offer is readable from across the road, then proofed against your window measurements.
- 03
Install around class times
Perforated film is installed in scheduled sections so the gym stays open, usually around the quietest part of the timetable.
FAQ
Fitness Window Vinyl Questions, Answered.
Can people see into the gym through perforated window film?
During daylight hours, no — the outside is brighter than the interior, so the film reads as a solid graphic from the street while members see out clearly. After dark the effect reverses when interior lights are brighter than the street, which is worth planning for if you run late evening classes in front of the glass.
Will gym window graphics make the training floor dark?
Perforated film passes a meaningful amount of daylight because a portion of the surface is open holes, so the floor stays usable. Solid opaque vinyl across a full frontage will darken the space noticeably, which is why we rarely recommend it for a main training area.
How long does a gym window graphics campaign last on the glass?
Perforated film is a commercial exterior material and is normally specified for multi-season use. Most gyms replace it because the offer changed rather than because the film failed. If you know the campaign has an end date, tell us and we'll spec a removable option.
Can we change the campaign without replacing the whole frontage?
Yes, if it's planned that way. We can build the frontage as a permanent branded base with one or two panes reserved as swappable campaign panels, so a new offer means changing two windows instead of twelve.
Does perforated film need to be cleaned differently?
Gently. The perforated surface holds dust more than flat vinyl, so a soft wash rather than a scrubbing pad, and no pressure washing directly at the edges. We'll go over care for the specific material with your install.
